Overall, teachers in Luxembourg earned the highest salaries but it took quite a long time for them to reach the top salary. By contrast, those in Australia and Denmark, albeit among the lowest salary range, achieved the maximum salary in the shortest time.

Teachers in Luxembourg had the highest initial income, at $80,000 per year. After 15 years of working, their salaries rose to $112,000, and it took them 30 years to reach the top salary of $139,000. Australia and Denmark showed a different pattern. Teachers in these countries could earn the maximum salary less than ten years; however, the salary range was among the lowest, with a maximum salary of only $48,000 in Australia and $54,000 in Denmark.
