- NHÓM NHÂN VIÊN: gồm cột Total employees, cột Female và cột Male

Ta thấy:

- Cột Total employees: giảm liên tục
- Cột Female luôn lớn hơn cột Male
- Cột Factories: Ban đầu tăng mạnh, sau đó giảm.

The table gives information about the number of employees and factories in the silk industry in England and Wales from 1851 to 1901.

Overall, the total workforce declined substantially over the period, with female workers consistently outnumbering males. In addition, the number of factories experienced an initial surge before decreasing for the rest of the period.

Regarding employment, in 1851 the total workforce stood at 130,750, but it had dropped dramatically, finishing the period at approximately 39,000. Looking more closely at genders, in 1851 there were around 76,800 women working in this field. By 1901, however, this number had fallen to one-third of its original value, with around 26,000 female workers remaining. A similar pattern was observed among male workers, whose numbers dropped from nearly 54,000 in 1851 to 13,375 in 1901, despite a temporary increase of around 3,000 between 1881 and 1891.

In terms of factories, the first decade saw a boom in the number of factories producing silk, with the figure rising dramatically from 272 in 1851 to a peak of 761 in 1861. It then fell to 693 a decade later before recovering marginally in 1881, after which it resumed its downward trend, ending the period at 623.
