The charts show information about average temperatures, precipitation and hours of sunshine over the course of twelve months in Glasgow, Scotland.

Overall, both the maximum and minimum temperatures in Glasgow rise to their highest levels in August before declining towards the end of the year. December is the wettest month, while August receives the most sunshine.

Looking first at average temperatures, in January the maximum temperature in Glasgow stands at around 5 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is roughly 1.5 degrees Celsius. Both figures then rise steadily to their peaks in August, at just over 18 and about 11 degrees Celsius, respectively. Thereafter, temperatures experience a rapid decline, with the respective figures falling to just over 8 and 2 degrees Celsius in December.

Turning to rainfall and sunshine, monthly precipitation is relatively high in the first two months, ranging from 10 to 11 cm. It then falls to between 6 and 7.5 cm from March to June, before rising again towards the end of the year to peak at 12.5 cm in December. Regarding sunshine, August stands out with 15 hours per day, compared with just one hour in January and December. Between May and July, Glasgow receives an average of 5.5 to 6 hours of sunshine daily, while the figures for the remaining months range from 2 to 4 hours.
